What is Managed Hosting?

Bitter Merch offers a service that many individuals as well as small to medium sized businesses find useful. We're talking about Fully Managed Hosting. What is Fully Managed Hosting (FMH)? FMH is a service in which the client (you) have a complete "hands-off" experience with the details of your hosting service. The only part you need to worry about is what is going to be hosted, and your initial package choice. We only recommend FMH to clients who need minimal or non-time-sensitive updates to their site, as changes made can take 24-48 hours to complete. We also offer FMH solutions for clients who choose NOT to be hosted directly by Bitter Merch. FMH is NOT a site management service, if you need web updates, they can be included on an additional tier-based price. If you would like a CMS built into your site - even if it's not built by us, we can arrange for that too!

You will NOT receive any Login information to manage your hosting environment, unless you sign-up for our Premium plan, which is built on a different framework than which we host all other accounts. Instead of a login, you will be given access to a special email request form for server management requests. All requests are handled within 24 hours for customers who are in good-standing. You will be billed monthly or yearly based on your request via PayPal or our Billing System (FreshBooks).
